Training & Development for Today's Transportation Professional

As a claims professional, your ability to manage change and apply effective prevention techniques will determine the success of your career and your organization.

How can you stay sharp professionally and still keep up with your day-to-day workload? By being an active member of the only association focused exclusively on the needs of claim professionals in the transportation industry.

LPC's Mission: "Providing strategies and tactics to reduce freight loss and damage."

For more than 60 years the Loss Prevention Conference (LPC) has provided freight loss and damage training sessions designed for shippers, carriers, and the general public. The LPC's meetings and seminars teach best business practices, applicable statutes, case law and regulations affecting freight loss and damage as well as lawful settlement of freight claims. As a LPC member you can participate in the educational forums, workshops, training seminars and professional networking opportunities you need to stay current on industry issues, advance your career, and strengthen your organization.

The LPC's success results from its ability to identify emerging trends and develop education and training programs that address vital issues before they become critical business obstacles. The LPC's programs are designed for claim professionals in the transportation industry and organizations supplying products or services to the industry.

LPC membership brings you value through:

• Workshops on loss prevention, applicable statutes, case law and regulations, lawful settlement of freight loss and damage claims, business skills and best business practices.
• Roundtable discussions covering daily issues encountered by claim professionals.
• Specialized skills training and professional development seminars.
• Peer interaction and the exchange of ideas with other claims professionals in the transportation industry.
• Industry and vendor contacts throughout North America.
• Access to LPC members and suppliers who are part of the industry's leading service and product organizations.
• The latest industry, legislative and business news on www.lpclink.com, the LPC's web site.
• Weekly newsletter and SMC³’s Information Bulletin (a compilation of news articles from publications and newspapers that are of interest to the transportation industry)
